Commercial Pilot Course

Commercial Pilot Licence Privileges are the same as private but includes night rating and VFR OTT rating and can be for hire.

Enrolment Requirements

  • Minimum Age

    18 Years

  • Medical Fitness

    Category 1 medical

  • License Required

    Private Pilot

  • Experience

    An applicant shall have completed a minimum of:

    • 200hrs flight time in aeroplanes
    • of which a minimum of 100hrs shall be pilot-in-command
    • including 20hrs pic cross country time
  • Hour Summary

    DUAL - 35 Hours
    SOLO - 30 Hours
    BOOKS
    GROUND SCHOOL - 80 Hours
    BRIEFINGS - 10 Hours

Cessna 172 (Based on minimum flying experience required for the private pilots license)
